Once Upon a time...

There was a beautiful little Princess by the name of Caroline Danelle Keen....and she is by far....the fairest of them all.... ;) Danelle is our good friend Dineka's little girl. We have known Danelle, well since she was born...so she is part of our family. I love this little girl more than anything, and I will always be here for her!

I love my job!

I clearly have the best job in the world! I work for the Department of Education in the Bureau of Family and Community Outreach. We provide resources, training, recognition, and technical assistance for parents, volunteers, schools and communities to support families in making choices that will promote a high quality education for their children.
We have Dropout Prevention and Academic Intervention, GED Exit Option, No Child Left Behind, Title I Parent Involvement, Safe and Drug-Free Schoos-Title IV, Part A. 21st Century Community Learning Centers, Faith and Community Based Outreach, Florida Learn and Serve....and many more. I fall mainly under the 21st CCLC area. I am in charge of the grants that come through our office in reference to the 21st Century applications, etc. I love my job and the people that I work with! I have always wanted to be in the Education Field...and while pursing my dreams....working with the Dept. of Education is just fine with me! :)

I love my family!

I have the most wonderful family a girl could ask for! You will find my family as some what Country-fied. We are the ones you would find running around in the yard trying desperatly to round up all the biddies before the hawks get to them, running around in the pooring down rain because a certain little boy forgot to lock the cattle gate back, and all the cows got out! ;)Or...sitting in church on Sunday morning, waiting patiently for time to leave because we know when we get home, the fishin' poles will be bobbin' in the River before too long. My family is very close to one another...and we would do anything for anybody! I love my family more than life itself, and without them...I don't know of any other reason to be here. I have wonderful parents, a wonderful sister Kelly, and my brothers are my world...and my nephews are my life! I now have a new baby niece Kelby....and am so happy that she is finally here to be with us! She better be ready....she has alot of love to take in all at once! ;) I love my family and will be forever thankful for everything that they have done for me! Thanks yall'....I love you!

Life goes on

Life is too short. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laught when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you can't change. Love deeply and forgive quickly, take chances...give everything and have no regrets! Life is too short to be unhappy. You have to take the good with the bad, smile when you're sad, love what you got and always remember what you had. Always forgive but never forger....learn from your mistakes but never regret! People change, and things go wrong....but always remember....LIFE GOES ON!!!!

Howdy!

Hello Everyone,

My friend Megan showed me this site, and I have decided to give it a shot. ;) Let me start by introducing myself...My name is Lindsey Rebecca Whittle. I am attending Tallahassee Community College full time, and working for the Dept. of Education in the Bureau of Family and Community Outreach. I love the Lord, my family and friends with all my heart! I love the Country and the outdoors! I am a Southern girl all the way! ;) I love riding horses, fishing, hunting, camping, mud-boggin', and just sitting by a camp fire. Anything else you would like to know...feel free to ask. :)
