We decided to take a trip to Mexico Beach in Bay County one day this past summer. I was a little worried about the girls being out in the sun all day...but they did great! The only time they got fussy was when they wanted me or Ryan to hold them in the surf. They didn't like how the waves pushed them over. We all had a great time. Caleb was buried from neck down...we made really cool sand castles, and the girls loved snacking all day on the picnic blanket. I packed tons of towels, sun block, sun hats, swimmies, toys galore, sun glasses, and a few changes of clothes for the little ones. We had peanut butter and jelly for lunch, with chips and capri suns. The girs really enjoyed their lunch. I guess the sun just made them hungry hungry!! After the beach, we went up to the public pier and washed off in the showers...changed clothes, and got all clean for the ride home. But first we had to take our traditional trip to Tommy T's ice cream parlor. All the kids got to pick there own ice cream flavor....and they loved playing all the games in the game room!!! All in all....we had a great day at the beach!
P.S. Ryan was the only one that got burnt! The rest of us just got nicely kissed by the sun! ;)
