Little Lost Kitten

Once upon a time....there was a little lost kitten...

Over the "cold spell" we heard a noise coming from under the house. Ryan and I bundled up, and went out in the freezing weather to scope it out. To our surprise, we found a little gray kitten right under the front steps. The kitten was very wild...but in much need of some warmth and shelter. We set out some milk, and went back inside. The kitten had licked the bowl dry...we tried for about an hour to get her...but she wouldn't come to us. The next day Ryan set out a trap baited with a can of potted meat. None the less, the little hungry devil took the bait!! We caught the little "loud" baby kitten that was keeping us up all night!! We put tons of blankets inside a big cage we had from his previous dog, as well as two blankets draped over the cage to keep out the wind. We set up a make shit cat litter box, and a box with some more towels to get into for bedding. We picked up some canned kitten food the next day at Tractor Supply, and she was set. Knowing that we couldn't keep this little lady...Ryan's mom printed up some fliers and posted them around her work. Not two days later...we found a good home for this little one! The "girls" Hannah, Hailey, and Danelle were sad to see her go...but all in all we were very happy that we were able to help the kitten find a good home. :)

Three Wooden Crosses

Someone once gave me this CD for Christmas about 4 years ago. It was the one of the best gifts I have ever recieved. This CD saves me day after day from the bad and evil in the world. It shows me to all the good in my life, and allows me to realize just how wonderful this world can be. Three Wooden Crosses has 17 very inspirational songs...that I love very much.

After listening to this CD you will think twice about allowing yourself to get upset because the car in front of you is driving really slow and you are late for work...you will find that you do have patience...you will see all the good in even the worst of people...you will love and appreciate even your crazy life!

God has his ways of sending us his word. I believe this was one of them. :)

I hope you have a wonderful day...and God Bless you!

All I hear is "Taylor Swift"!!

Here are a few pictures of the Beautiful, Sweet, Smart, Funny, very popular in Danelle Keens' eyes, "Taylor".
:)

Over the past few weeks, Danelle has grew from her obsession with Dora the Explorer, Wonder Pets, and even the great Hannah Montana to the wonderful teenage Country music star, Taylor Swift! Danelle has to dress just like "Taylor", walk just like "Taylor", sing just like "Taylor"!! It's crazy! As soon as we get into the car to go anywhere....I hear " Turn it to Taylor", "Can we listen to Talyor now", " I will eat my green beans if we can listen to Taylor one more time"! lol. Seriously folks...this kid is obsessed! lol. Her favorite song by Taylor is "Picture to burn". I made the mistake by allowing her to watch the video...she finds it so fasinating that Taylor destroyed her ex boyfriends house! Danelle said just the other day, "If one of my boyfriends ever let's another girl drive his pickup truck and not me, I am going to burn his picture!!" lol. Not even kidding!! Danelle's eye doctor prescribed Nelly with a prescription for a pair of glasses. Danelle was not to thrilled at the idea, but as soon as she was told that Taylor Swift wore purple glasses at school....her face lit up in delight!! She loves her new Purple Taylor Swift glasses!!

Puddin Creek Paradise!

The mud was great, the trucks were awsome, the food was delicious, and the kids were having a ball! Danelle is something else! That girl is so prissy! And, they wonder where Hannah get's it from!! LOL

I know most of the pictures are of Danelle. I got these off of something her mom sent to me, so these are all I had for the time being! I have some really good ones of Austin and his cousin. You can see them on Sarah's blogger as well. :)

Ryan, Ishmael, Danelle and I loaded up the coolers, grill, and bog truck and headed for the Perry Boggin in October. It was deathly cold, but soon warmed up very nicely. Ryan's brother Rodney met us out there with his son Austin as well. We all had a wonderful time! As you can clearly see from the photos, Danelle and Austin couldn't keep away from that mudd! Danelle called it her "Mud Wonderland"! You can take the kids out of the country...but you can't take the Country out of the kids! ;)

October/ Pumpkin Patch 09'

We all had a wonderful time at the Pumpkin Patch!! Below you will see pictures of Hailey, Hannah, Danelle, and Daelynn enjoying their fall festivities! :)

Tammy, Ryan, and I took the girls to the Pumpkin Patch this year. They all had a blast! My good friend Wendy and her daughter Daelynn met us there also!! Danelle and Daelynn are "Best Country Girl Friends". Life is so good in so many ways! Here are a few pictures of the day!
